Klinsmann names 23-man U.S. national team for January camp

U.S. national team manager Jurgen Klinsmann revealed his 23-man roster Wednesday for a January training camp ahead of a pair of friendlies against Iceland and Canada.
The team features some new faces and plenty of young players, who, alongside veterans likeToronto FC duo Michael Bradley and Jozy Altidore and former New England Revolutionmidfielder Jermaine Jones, make up Klinsmann's preferred roster for the training camp.
LA Galaxy forward Gyasi Zardes, free agent college wonder Jordan Morris, and a Columbus Crew trio of Wil TrappTony Tchani, and Ethan Finlay highlight some of the younger stars on the team.
MLS goalkeepers Bill Hamid of D.C. United andLuis Robles from the New York Red Bulls earned the nod in the stead of Everton's Tim Howard orAston Villa's Brad Guzan. Young defender Kellyn Acosta from FC Dallas also earned his first look, joined by the likes of Matt Miazga and Matt Besler.
